What should you bring on a guided fly fishing trip?
For comfort, we suggest that guests dress for the Colorado outdoors by bringing a driver’s license (for licensing), hat, sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, camera, rain jacket and warm layers. During the month of June, we recommend long pants due to the cold runoff. These items are available at the store if they are needed. Please also bring any personal effects.
Do you need any experience whatsoever to go on a fishing trip?
No, absolutely not. Our expert guide staff is there to help and educate you every step of the way. You can first swing by one of our FREE daily casting clinics to get the "feel" for fly fishing. We might then recommend a wade trip as the guide will be right next to you in the river showing you how to cast, tie your flies, and where the fish are biting.
